Setting up a proxy in Google Chrome on macOS

To configure HTTP or Socks proxy in Google Chrome browser on macOS, go to Settings.

In the search bar, enter "proxy" and open the proxy settings.

  1. For HTTP proxy: put the 2 indicated checkboxes
  2. For Socks proxy: mark the checkbox
  3. Specify the IP address and connection port
  4. If the proxy requires authorization, enter username and password
